Customized PRD Calibration Kit for automated workflow

📩 Request:

The client needed a solution for simplifying the calibration of Personal Radiation Detectors (PRDs) manufactured by Polimaster and used by the city's first responders and public safety teams.

🚧 Challenge:

The calibration process for the city’s numerous PRDs was time-consuming and prone to errors, requiring an automated system that simplified calibration.

🔍 Solution:

Polimaster developed a Calibration Kit that automated the calibration process, reduced manual tasks, and streamlined the management of calibration points, as well as certificate generation. The solution included a dedicated desktop reader for convenient PRD data reading and Calibration Workstation software for centralized calibration management and automated reporting.

The customized Calibration Kit significantly improved the efficiency of the calibration process, allowing Houston’s public safety teams to conduct calibrations faster and with greater accuracy, while automating certificate generation and compliance reporting.
