Part 5. Polimaster Goes to Hollywood
In 2008, the "Get Smart" movie filmmakers contacted Polimaster and asked to use one of our dosimeters in the movie scene that felt straight out of a superhero universe. Adventurous and curious by nature, Polimaster sent our patented wristwatch-dosimeter accompanied by experienced technicians on a mission to Hollywood. The movie featured our advanced Geiger counter-equipped watch as a prop, pivotal in a key scene where Agent 23 is exposed as a double agent through the clever use of this gadget. This appearance not only highlighted Polimaster’s innovative device but also aligned our real-world technology with the fantastical gadgets only seen in spy and action movies. The “Hollywood adventure” left us with some great memories and a strong assurance that Polimaster is ahead of its time.
